FOTRS is delighted to announce that The Sheffield Chorale has chosen us as their Christmas Charity for 2017.

The Sheffield Chorale is a popular and friendly mixed voice choir of around 50-60 singers, with a high reputation in the city and beyond. The ensemble enjoys singing all kinds of music, accompanied and a capella, from early music to modern part-songs, as well as major choral works.

Every year Sheffield Chorale raises money for a different local charity through the collection taken at its Service of Nine Lessons and Carols (which this year is being held at St Mark’s Broomhill), and various other activities, such as carol singing in the city centre and at Sheffield Station.

The concert takes place on Thursday 14th December at 7.30pm. There is no charge for admission, but the profits from a retiring collection will be given to FOTRS and will support our Music Therapy programme – please give generously.

There will also be an opportunity to hear The Sheffield Chorale perform in the centre of Sheffield in front of the John Lewis department store where, again, the proceeds of the collection will be donated to FOTRS.
